I honestly did not think this CD was going to be a real hit, I was wrong. The "angelic" voices are soothing and the tempo does not change until the end, when I suppose, you are to gently wake up. Even the cat loves this one and will come running to sit next to the player and purr. If you like to relax to soft voices this is the one for you.
Although I sampled the tracks before buying, reducing the volume of the stereo simply did not create the desired effect. Less than enthralled by this collection, I found the pitch to be of such high frequency that it was painful to the eardrums. I was unable to concentrate suffice to meditate. The music would have been quite good had it not been so high-pitched.Libera, Angel Sublime I and II by Aeola, and the angelic voice of Maria Callas are recommended. Guided angelic meditation cds are avalable from Amazon.com.
My son has ADHD, after a long hard day of ups and downs he looks forward to listening to this CD when he goes to bed and calms him down and makes him think of good thoughts, it's really helping him to appreciate mom more. Thank you Gift of Angels you truly are a blessing for my son.
I guess the customer reviews got my expectations up too high. I think the music sounds too computerized. Hardly "Angelic" in my opinion.
If you have someone who is very ill, I would not hesitate to play this as background music for them. May sound hokey, but it's true. Maybe they would finally "get it". On a scale of 1 to 5, I give it a about a 25. I believe it would give them a sense of peace. If you are familiar with the metaphysical energy-power in chanting the word "Om", it is awesome when combined with this celestial music.By the way, any music I have ever heard with the Steven Halpern name on it has been outstanding. There's even a track with a bamboo flute and it is as exquisite as the finest wine. This music is truly guided by Spirit.
That's the best way I can describe this gorgeous collection of synthesized sounds. Still others just pretend they don't notice it. There is also a little booklet that provides a little one/two-liner about each track. This CD has 15 tracks lasting a total of almost 73 minutes, (a tad under 1 hour 15 minutes) with harps and all kinds of synthesized sound. You may well have never heard anything like it before.
This is very beautiful angelic music. If you have trouble getting to sleep, this CD could help, and it runs long enough. This is real SOUL music. Well, I'd like to tie them to a chair and play this to them until they give in. Some respond immediately to the peaceful vibration of the music, indicating how relaxing it is. You can also play it in your office first thing in the morning to set the vibration for the day.
Yeah, Right. In the office, it's neat to watch peoples' expression when they walk in and listen to what they say about it. It is so very peaceful and excellent for any type of healing modality such as reiki or massage or meditation or to just play to unwind at the end of the day. You know those people who write that "hate" music. You may find that the names of the titles alone resonate a special energy to you. If you meditate with this one you might not want to come back to planet earth.The tracks have such great titles: "Gifts of the Angels, Angels of Music, Radiance, Pachelbel's Canon in D Minor, Deep Healing, Harmonic Convergence, Ode for Orpheus, Celestial Prophecy, Angels on High, Deep Bamboo, Eternally, Higher Ground, Chakra Healing, The Light in Your Eyes," and "Eternal Om". Others ask what you are playing, as if you've lost your mind. It makes you feel like you are sitting on a cloud, in Heaven, listening to all the souls singing to the special Heavenly music.
His music is especially appreciated by those on a spiritual path. If you died right now, this is probably what you would hear on your way "up" to heaven. It is actually Steven himself chanting. The final track is a combination of "Om" chanting plus the music.
This CD just ain't like earth music. If you are on such a path, then I think you REALLY want this CD. If angels aren't involved with Steven in making these recordings I don't know who is. You can really breathe in this vibration. Ethereal.
Funny. With tinkling piano keys and what sounds like a heavenly background choir, it is drop-dead gorgeous. Halpern's music is also featured on many of Doreen Virtue's (Angel Lady's) albums, as well as James Van Praagh's albums. Namaste'
